Custodian (Part-time)

Pay: $18 - $21/hour

Schedule: Varying shifts may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends

Job summary

You’ll help maintain a clean, sanitary, organized, and safe production facility by handling routine cleaning, restocking supplies, waste disposal, sanitation tasks, and special cleaning projects.

Cleaning responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout production, storage, and common areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and office spaces on a regular schedule.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Manage waste disposal according to facility procedures.
• Wipe down surfaces, equipment exteriors, and fixtures.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and other consumables.
• Support scheduled deep cleaning tasks.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.

Facility support

• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards for a production environment.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
• Help create and maintain a welcoming and safe environment for customers and team members.

What you’ll need

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred.
• Positive attitude and genuine interest in supporting a clean, safe workplace.
• Ability to stay organized and efficient in an active production environment.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and thorough work style.
• Strong attention to detail.

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift and move a minimum of 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
