Warehouse Associate

Employment type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50/hour

Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed

Position summary

You’ll support distribution center operations by receiving, stocking, pulling, staging, packing, and shipping freight while maintaining accurate inventory and a clean, safe warehouse.

Day-to-day work

• Process customer orders efficiently.
• Pull stock orders and put away incoming merchandise.
• Inspect, mark, and tag parts for inventory.
• Pick, pack, and ship ecommerce orders.
• Maintain daily bin inventory levels and replenish products as needed.
• Process incoming and outgoing stock orders and customer returns.
• Report damaged products and inventory discrepancies to management.
• Maintain accurate warehouse records.
• Operate forklifts and order pickers safely, with training provided.
• Use warehouse computer and barcode equipment as needed.
• Maintain general warehouse housekeeping.
• Follow all safety procedures and complete other assigned warehouse tasks.

Skills and experience

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 1 to 3 years of distribution center or warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to accurately recognize and work with part numbers.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety requirements.
• Parts knowledge and identification experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift and carry freight weighing up to 70 pounds regularly.
• Ability to push and pull heavier products using hand trucks, carts, pallet jacks, and other mechanical aids.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move throughout the facility.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and heavy machinery.
• Ability to work in hot and cold weather conditions.
