About the Role
This opportunity is for a Senior Data Scientist focused on analyzing large, complex datasets to identify and classify behavioral patterns, develop product and client-facing analytics, and turn data into actionable recommendations. The role also contributes to data strategy and leads analytical projects through data ingestion, analysis, interpretation, and recommendation.
The position requires advanced statistical knowledge, exploratory data analysis, probability theory, SQL, Python, and distributed data processing. Exposure to machine learning methods such as regressors and classifiers is also important, along with the ability to communicate analytical findings through clear data visualization and storytelling.
What You'll Do
- Analyze extensive datasets to identify and classify behavioral patterns among medical professionals using the platform.
- Create product-facing and client-facing analytics that support data-driven decisions.
- Work with product leaders and managers to inform data team strategy.
- Actively participate in the execution and planning of organizational data team strategy.
- Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and developers to define and lead data projects.
- Lead data projects through data ingestion, analysis, interpretation, and actionable recommendations.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- At least 4 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or in directly related analytical work.
Required Skills
- Advanced knowledge of statistical concepts, particularly exploratory data analysis techniques and probability theory.
- Exposure to machine learning methods, including regressors and classifiers.
- Advanced SQL proficiency, including the ability to create and evaluate complex queries involving numerous tables and data relationships.
- Strong Python proficiency and knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts as they apply to data and Python development.
- Proficiency with distributed data processing concepts and execution, including working with column stores and technologies such as Spark.
- Excellent data visualization and analytical storytelling skills, with the ability to explain findings and solutions clearly and compellingly to stakeholders.
- Ability to learn quickly, with strong curiosity about data and continued development in analytical methods and technologies.
