Warehouse Associate

Pay: $20 - $22/hour

Position summary

You’ll support warehouse operations for a large-format printing and visual display shop by receiving materials, staging production supplies, maintaining inventory, preparing shipments, and handling finished graphics and display hardware.

Receiving and material handling

• Receive inbound freight and verify quantities, sizes, and condition against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Document shortages, overages, and damage at the time of delivery.
• Enter received materials into the ERP system and label them for storage.
• Unload trucks by hand, pallet jack, or forklift.
• Store substrates, hardware, and consumables in assigned warehouse locations.
• Handle sheet goods and rolled media carefully to prevent creasing, scratching, or edge damage.
• Move work in process between printing, cutting, fabrication, and finishing areas.

Order preparation and inventory

• Pull and kit materials according to job tickets and cut lists.
• Stage materials for scheduled production work.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory.
• Monitor high-use substrates and consumables and report low stock.
• Maintain accurate storage locations so materials can be retrieved quickly.

Packing and shipping

• Pack, wrap, box, and crate finished graphics and display hardware.
• Build simple crates and protective packaging for oversized or fragile products.
• Prepare shipments for freight carriers, couriers, and installation crews.
• Generate shipping paperwork and label shipments accurately.
• Stage outbound loads by job.
• Load trucks and verify shipments against pull sheets before departure.

Requirements

• 1+ year of warehouse, shipping and receiving, or material handling experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure and work accurately from job tickets and pull sheets.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping data entry.
• Ability to handle large and easily damaged materials carefully.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime when production requires it.
• Ability to communicate clearly with production, purchasing, and installation teams.
• Forklift certification or willingness to become certified preferred.
• Print, signage, display, or fabrication shop experience preferred.
• ERP or WMS experience preferred.
• Crating or oversized freight packaging experience preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Bilingual English and Spanish skills preferred.

Physical requirements

• Ability to stand and walk on a concrete floor for most of an 8+ hour shift.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to team-lift full sheets, rolls, and large crates.
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach overhead.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and, when certified, a forklift.
• Ability to work around noise, dust, variable temperatures, and required PPE.
