Remote (United States)

Pay: $85,000 - $115,000/year

Work model: Remote

Position summary

This role sits at the center of how the company operates, turning healthcare and workflow data into actionable insights for the Operations team and other internal partners. The analyst will help identify performance gaps, improve efficiency across the patient journey and advocate workflows, and build scalable reporting that supports better decisions as the business grows.

What you'll work on

  • Find bottlenecks and inefficiencies across the patient journey, including intake, match, and active care, as well as advocate workflows.
  • Analyze advocate utilization, caseloads, and supply-demand balance to help Operations staff ahead of growth.
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards in Hex that automate manual reporting and provide self-serve access to key metrics for Operations, Product, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Partner with engineering to keep data models clean and reliable, and refine SQL and dbt transformations.
  • Turn technical findings into clear recommendations for non-technical audiences and explain what leadership should do next.
  • Work with structured and semi-structured data, including nested JSON and healthcare operational data.

Experience and qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, including time in healthcare operations such as health tech, provider, payer, or care delivery where data directly informed operational decisions.
  • Healthcare operations fluency, including knowledge of intake, scheduling, caseloads, SLAs, and where operational data tends to break.
  • Advanced SQL experience and the ability to write efficient, complex queries against cloud data warehouses like Snowflake.
  • Strong experience designing interactive dashboards and reports; Hex is highly preferred, and Looker, Tableau, or Metabase experience is also valuable.
  • Comfort working with messy, real-world data, including nested JSON and unstructured datasets.
  • AI fluency for speeding up SQL and analysis, with the judgment to verify output against the data.
  • Strong analytical mindset, communication skills, and a bias toward action in ambiguous, shifting priorities.

Preferred background

  • dbt and Git experience for managing transformations, contributing to core data models, and working in version control.
  • Exposure to healthcare reimbursement, including claims, billing codes, or Medicare reimbursement.
  • Python or R for automation, statistical analysis, or forecasting.
  • Experience using data to streamline workflows and reduce manual overhead in an operations setting.
