Warehouse Associate

Pay: $18.50/hour

Position summary

The warehouse associate on 2nd shift is responsible for receiving and storing inbound shipments, helping with inventory counts, processing incoming and outgoing orders, keeping product storage organized, and supporting timely picking, packing, and shipping. The role also includes basic equipment care and maintaining a safe, orderly warehouse environment.

What you'll work on

• Safely operate reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, and pallet jacks when needed.
• Put away inbound shipments accurately and safely.
• Use a PDA scanner when moving products in and out of inventory.
• Keep inventory stored and organized properly.
• Process, package, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Inspect products for defects and damage, and report quality issues.
• Participate in regular inventory counts.
• Keep equipment and the work area clean and orderly, and perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Report damages to the supervisor immediately and follow safety and quality procedures and other company policies.

Experience and qualifications

• 2+ years of experience performing similar tasks in a relevant warehouse setting.
• 2+ years of experience with warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, and forklifts.
• Reach truck and cherry picker experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience using PDA scanners.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers in a respectful, concise, and clear manner.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Schedule and working conditions

• This is a full-time, on-site position based in Tomball, TX.
• Monday through Friday, from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.
• The role requires standing and bending for long periods, with occasional squatting, stooping, and turning at the waist in a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 lbs. unassisted.
• Must be comfortable working at significant heights on machinery up to 24 feet.
