Status: Full-Time
Pay: $100k - $130k / year
About the Role
We’re looking for a senior-level Software Engineer who thrives across the stack and enjoys working at the intersection of infrastructure and automation. In this role, you’ll help build core product features, improve system performance and scalability, and create automation workflows that support both internal teams and customer needs.
This is a high-impact position with direct collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders. You’ll help scale infrastructure, ship features to production, and identify opportunities for workflow and test automation that improve operations and product delivery.
This is a generalist, high-autonomy role spanning full-stack development, infrastructure, automation, and direct user collaboration—ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world problems across technical boundaries in a small, fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Build and ship core product features across backend and frontend (Python, PostgreSQL, JavaScript/Vue.js)
- Collaborate directly with customers and internal stakeholders to understand workflows and identify automation opportunities
- Design and integrate automation scripts into systems and pipelines (APIs, CI/CD, databases)
- Analyze workflows and propose practical automation strategies aligned with business goals
- Improve system monitoring, alerting, and observability
- Write clean, maintainable code with strong documentation and testing practices
- Work closely with end users, clinical stakeholders, and internal teams to ship production-grade solutions quickly
- Stay current on best practices in test automation, DevOps, and healthcare technology
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with non-technical stakeholders
- Strong workflow/process mapping skills and high attention to detail
- Proven track record of delivering production-ready code and automation
- Advanced programming skills in Python and Django
- Hands-on experience with Selenium and related tooling
- Experience working with AWS infrastructure
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
- Comfortable working with REST APIs, browser dev tools, and debugging tools
- Experience with observability tooling (Datadog, Sentry, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly with customers (consulting, customer success, or support)
- Background in solution architecture, support engineering, or customer-facing technical roles
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Exposure to health tech, PHI, or HIPAA-aligned systems
Why Join
You’ll work across the full stack with strong autonomy and ownership, helping shape infrastructure, automation, and engineering processes from the ground up. This is a remote-first team with a kind, collaborative culture and mission-driven work that supports better patient care in real time.
