$90,000 – $110,000 per year

About the Role

This opportunity is for a Technical Project Manager to lead data management and analytics initiatives from planning through delivery. The role partners closely with data engineers, analysts, developers, and client stakeholders to keep scope, timelines, and outcomes aligned. A strong Agile foundation and hands-on familiarity with data integration, data warehousing, and BI/visualization tools are essential for success.

What You’ll Do

• Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and success measures for data-focused initiatives
• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Coordinate internal teams (data engineers, analysts, and developers) and client stakeholders to manage expectations and delivery
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks to support high-quality outcomes
• Provide technical oversight and informed input on data pipelines, data modeling, ETL processes, and BI reporting tools
• Communicate status, challenges, and accomplishments to client stakeholders and internal leadership
• Continuously improve delivery practices by applying lessons learned and industry best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of project management experience in data management, data analytics, or software development projects
• Strong understanding of data integration, data warehousing, and data visualization concepts
• Proficiency with Agile project management approaches (Scrum, Kanban, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, or comparable project management platforms
• Familiarity with technical tools such as Snowflake, dbt, Power BI, or similar platforms
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Agile certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or similar)
• Experience in consulting or client-facing delivery environments
• Technical background in ETL tools, data modeling, or SQL development
• Familiarity with hybrid delivery models that blend Agile execution with milestone-based phases
