Delivery Driver

Employment type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with flexibility for occasional overnight and after-hours work

Pay: $25.00/hour, plus performance and sales bonus opportunities

Position summary

This role combines local delivery work with business development support. You will deliver portable storage containers to residential and business customers, help grow the territory through outreach and sales activity, and support day-to-day operations with a strong focus on safety, service, and professionalism.

What you’ll do

• Deliver portable storage containers to customers using a company truck, typically within a 60-mile radius.
• Drive territory growth through marketing outreach, sales calls, and meetings when not making deliveries.
• Operate a 25-foot delivery truck and safely handle loading, unloading, and placement of containers.
• Protect customer property and company equipment during deliveries.
• Update delivery software on a mobile device and document proof of delivery.
• Follow all driving, safety, and operational procedures.
• Secure containers with tie-downs and safety chains.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues right away.
• Handle basic truck upkeep such as refueling, checking fluids, and minor maintenance.
• Transport trucks for scheduled maintenance and repairs.
• Support basic administrative work related to customers and vendors.
• Help maintain container readiness for rentals and auctions.

What you’ll need

• Experience driving 26-foot trucks.
• Clean motor vehicle record.
• DOT medical card.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Tow truck or flatbed driving experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols.
• Mechanical skills are a plus.
• Sales skills are a plus.
• Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen.
