Compensation

Salary Range: $100,000 – $140,000 per year

About the Role

This opportunity is for a Sr Automation Tester to support high-quality software delivery in a fully remote environment. The role focuses on designing and executing automated and manual testing strategies across modern applications, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous improvement within Agile and DevOps-driven workflows.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans, test cases, and scripts
• Build, configure, and maintain automated test frameworks and test environments
• Develop automation scripts for cross-browser testing and web applications
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate automated tests into the SDLC
• Implement and maintain data-driven and keyword-driven automation frameworks
• Perform API and web services testing to validate system integrations
• Use tools such as Selenium, UFT, RFT, and version control systems to support testing activities
• Integrate regression testing into CI/CD pipelines using DevOps practices
• Conduct non-functional testing including performance and load testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
• Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in automation testing with hands-on use of tools such as Selenium, UFT, or RFT
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Experience with API and web services testing
• Knowledge of automation frameworks, including data-driven and keyword-driven approaches
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with cross-browser testing strategies and configuration
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DevOps practices and continuous integration environments
• Hands-on experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
• Agile or SAFe certifications
• Experience testing commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications
• Additional training or certifications in testing or automation
