Customer Care Representative

Pay: ~ $17.31 - $23.08/hour, plus bonus opportunities
Position summary
This remote service role supports day-to-day commercial policy servicing with a strong focus on urgency, accuracy, client care, and long-term relationship building. You will help business clients with policy changes, certificates, billing questions, renewals, and carrier follow-up while keeping documentation organized and up to date.
What you’ll do
- Process policy changes, including endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements.
- Issue certificates of insurance accurately and on time.
- Respond to client questions related to billing, coverage, and policy servicing.
- Support renewals by gathering exposure data, applications, and loss runs.
- Assist with claims-related questions and help communicate with carriers.
- Maintain accurate policy documentation in the agency management system.
- Work with insurance carriers to complete servicing tasks and follow up on requests.
- Follow internal workflows, procedures, and timelines.
- Provide administrative and service support to account managers and account executives.
What you’ll need
- 1 - 3 years of commercial insurance customer service experience.
- Active Property & Casualty license.
- Basic understanding of commercial insurance coverages and terminology.
- Experience with agency management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple requests at once.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
