$115,688 - $144,611 per year

About the Role
This opportunity is for a Growth Manager responsible for driving market expansion, building strategic partnerships, and managing the full customer lifecycle from initial engagement through contract execution and renewal. This role focuses on identifying growth opportunities, developing proposals, and ensuring a strong and seamless customer experience.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct comprehensive federal market research by reviewing solicitation opportunities on platforms such as SAM.gov, GSA MAS, and other government procurement portals.
- Gather intelligence on upcoming procurements, contract vehicles, and agency priorities to inform capture strategy and proposal development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing and subject matter experts to develop competitive proposals and capture plans.
- Execute consistent outreach activities including calls, emails, and meetings to generate leads, qualify opportunities, and close deals.
- Engage directly with clients to understand requirements, deliver product demonstrations, and present tailored solutions.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations aligned with client needs and business objectives.
- Manage lead generation, pipeline activity, and customer engagement using CRM platforms such as HubSpot.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships, including teaming agreements, joint ventures, and subcontracting relationships.
- Write and edit proposal content including executive summaries, technical approaches, solution descriptions, and past performance narratives.
- Analyze and interpret government RFPs, solicitations, and contract vehicles to identify requirements, evaluation criteria, and compliance expectations.
- Coordinate with internal teams including sales, marketing, delivery, and operations to align on growth initiatives.
- Maintain detailed documentation of market research, competitive analysis, proposal activities, and contract processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Leverage AI tools and automation to reduce cycle time and improve scalability and performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within the government sector.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales and performance targets.
- Strong project management and time management skills.
- Experience working both independently and collaboratively in team environments.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and consultative sales methodologies.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience writing and reviewing proposals.
- Ability to actively network and represent the organization at industry and government-focused events.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong empathy and commitment to solving client challenges.
- Continuous learner with a focus on improving processes and workflows.
- High attention to detail and persistence in driving results.
- Strong understanding of the government landscape and ability to identify and pursue RFP opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in federal capture management.
- Strong knowledge of federal procurement regulations including FAR.
- Experience applying organizational capabilities to win government contracts.
- Experience leading capture efforts and collaborating across multi-vendor teams.
- Ability to contribute to strategic marketing materials and thought leadership initiatives.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with executive stakeholders.
- Ability to provide strategic direction and contribute innovative ideas.
- Familiarity with customer experience, user experience (UX/HCD), and digital platforms.
