About the Role
This opportunity is for a Brand Designer who will bring a developer-focused brand to life across marketing, sales, community, digital, physical, and event channels. This role is ideal for a proactive and creative designer who can turn briefs into polished, on-brand work that is delivered on time and built for a technical audience.
The position works closely with design leadership, marketing, developer relations, and sales teams. The work is highly varied, with responsibilities spanning ad creative, landing pages, social graphics, email templates, blog visuals, sales decks, long-form reports, guides, merchandise, conference materials, and brand systems.
What You’ll Do
- Create digital design assets, including ad creative, landing pages, social graphics, email templates, blog visuals, sales decks, long-form reports, and guides.
- Design screen-based materials that feel consistent, polished, and aligned with the brand.
- Build templates and systems that help the team move quickly while keeping design quality consistent.
- Create physical brand materials, including developer-focused swag, T-shirts, stickers, hats, and launch or milestone merchandise.
- Work with vendors and account for production requirements, including how designs translate from digital files into printed or manufactured materials.
- Design experiential assets such as booth graphics, signage, banners, badges, conference materials, and event-related visuals.
- Support larger brand opportunities, including out-of-home, pop-up, environmental, or other physical brand experiences when needed.
- Maintain brand consistency across digital, physical, and experiential work.
- Execute within established brand guidelines while identifying thoughtful opportunities for the brand system to grow.
- Collaborate with design, marketing, developer relations, and sales teams to turn creative briefs into finished design deliverables.
- Create polished work for a developer audience across multiple channels and formats.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of brand design experience.
- Fluency in Figma.
- Comfort working in Illustrator and InDesign.
- Ability to adapt a brand system across formats that differ significantly from one another.
- Print and production management knowledge, including bleeds, dielines, CMYK, and screen-printing considerations.
- Strong empathy for developer audiences, with a willingness to ask questions and understand technical users.
- Ability to move quickly across different types of projects while maintaining quality.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain design decisions clearly.
- Ability to receive feedback constructively and collaborate effectively.
- Comfort working remotely and communicating clearly through written channels such as Slack, as well as video meetings such as Zoom.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing for account-based marketing programs.
- Experience creating personalized landing pages, targeted ad variations, 1:1 direct mail, or other high-volume campaign variations.
- Ability to maintain strong design quality across many variations of creative work.
- Experience using AI-augmented creative workflows with tools such as Cursor, Claude, Midjourney, or similar tools.
- Ability to use AI tools to move faster and explore more ambitious creative work without replacing design craft.
- Motion or animation experience, including After Effects, Lottie, CSS animations, or subtle motion that makes digital experiences feel more alive.
First 90 Days
- During the first week, learn the team’s workflow, review brand guidelines, explore existing design assets, and understand the developer audience.
- By day 30, become fully integrated into the weekly workflow and begin producing work such as blog graphics, ad creative, and other marketing design assets.
- By day 30, build a stronger understanding of the product, developer users, and marketing strategy in order to execute efficiently.
- By day 90, deliver a significant project such as a full campaign creative package, conference materials, or a polished report series.
- By day 90, produce work that is live and visible to a developer audience.
