This opportunity is for a Senior Data Scientist who can turn complex business challenges into clear, data-driven solutions. The role partners with teams across the organization to deliver analysis, build practical data products, improve decision-making, and support broader adoption of analytics tools.
The ideal candidate is analytical, pragmatic, collaborative, and able to communicate technical tradeoffs clearly. This role requires someone who can balance speed with rigor, know when to build a scalable solution, and know when a practical answer is enough to move the business forward.

Base Salary Range: $143,000 – $175,000 per year
Compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications.
What You’ll Do
- Partner directly with teams such as Finance, Customer Success, and Product to understand data needs and deliver impactful solutions.
- Serve as a thought partner to stakeholders by translating business questions into analytical approaches and actionable recommendations.
- Prototype, build, and launch data-powered tools and automations for internal teams and customer-facing use cases.
- Help teams define meaningful success metrics and build data products that monitor performance against those metrics.
- Balance speed and rigor by recognizing when to deliver a pragmatic solution quickly and when to invest in a more durable system.
- Communicate tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders so teams understand the reasoning behind analytical and technical decisions.
- Create clear documentation, lead training sessions, and act as an internal expert to help teams use data tools effectively in their workflows.
- Contribute to and improve data science standards, practices, and team-wide analytical quality.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a closely related quantitative field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven success working in a high-growth SaaS or technology environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with comfort working across the full analytics stack.
- Experience with statistical methods and machine learning algorithms, including regression, classification, clustering, gradient boosting, and topic modeling.
- Strong judgment in choosing the right analytical or machine learning method for the problem.
- Hands-on experience with modern data and analytics platforms such as dbt, Snowflake, Redshift, Tableau, Omni, QuickSight, or similar tools.
- Experience working with analytics platforms and cloud-based tools, including AWS-based analytics environments such as SageMaker or QuickSight.
- Ability to deliver across a wide range of work, from quick ad hoc analysis to company-level dashboards.
- Experience understanding stakeholder needs and delivering solutions through ad hoc analysis, dashboards, tools, or automated workflows.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings for non-technical audiences.
- Experience with LLMs and other AI tools for analytics is a plus.
