Warehouse Associate

Role overview

This position supports warehouse operations by picking, checking, packing, shipping, receiving, stocking, returns processing, inventory control, and order accuracy in a fast-paced auto parts distribution environment.

What you’ll do

• Verify daily assignments with a manager or department lead.
• Handle products safely to avoid injury and prevent product damage.
• Pick and pull auto parts accurately and efficiently.
• Read pick-pack messages for special order instructions.
• Inspect products for damage during order verification.
• Pack orders securely using best practices.
• Update, reprint, and dispatch route manifests.
• Help drivers depart on time and provide ETAs when requested.
• Process common carrier shipments according to pick and pack instructions.
• Receive stock transfers, domestic shipments, and foreign vendor shipments.
• Label parts and complete discrepancy paperwork as needed.
• Complete receiving logs and scan paperwork for inventory control.
• Stock put-away carts and pallets accurately, including secondary locations.
• Research inventory discrepancies.
• Support bin maintenance, warehouse maintenance, stock checks, and cleanup reports.
• Process customer returns, vendor returns, cores, warranties, and defective items.

What you’ll need

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of RF scanner experience preferred.
• Ability to work overtime or hours outside the regular schedule, including some Saturdays.
• Professional attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to read part labels written in English.

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and push carts for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to navigate stairs at some locations.
• Ability to perform active warehouse work throughout the day.
