Warehouse Worker (Forklift)

Employment type: Temporary, full-time

Pay: ~ $18/hour

Role overview

You’ll support warehouse operations by operating a forklift to move materials, load and unload shipments, maintain inventory records, and follow safety procedures in a warehouse environment.

What you’ll do

• Operate a forklift to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials from the loading dock.
• Manually load and unload materials on or off pallets, platforms, skids, or lifting devices.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift forklift inspections.
• Coordinate with management on loading and unloading operations.
• Maintain updated inventory records.
• Follow company guidelines and safety policies.
• Carry 50-pound bags on catwalks and platforms as needed.
• Complete assigned warehouse duties without constant supervision.

What you’ll need

• High school diploma or GED.
• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
• Valid Class C driver's license.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Physical and work environment

• Ability to manually load and unload warehouse materials.
• Ability to carry 50-pound bags on catwalks and platforms.
• Indoor warehouse environment with high equipment noise.
• Work may be subject to outside temperatures.
