About the Role
This remote Intake Coordinator opportunity combines client intake, consultative sales, and high-volume lead management. The role serves as the first point of contact for prospective clients and is responsible for responding to leads, conducting detailed client consultations, qualifying prospective customers, and helping qualified prospects move through the decision-making process.
The position requires frequent inbound and outbound phone communication, careful evaluation of client information, accurate CRM documentation, and consistent compliance with applicable sales, regulatory, and data privacy requirements. Success requires empathy, professionalism, strong consultative selling skills, attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple client interactions each day in a remote-first environment.
What You’ll Do
- Respond to warm inbound leads while actively monitoring inbound call queues.
- Manage and prioritize an individual lead pipeline to ensure timely follow-up, accurate qualification, and consistent progression through the sales process.
- Build rapport with prospective clients through professional, clear, and empathetic communication.
- Conduct high-quality client consultations and gather relevant information regarding disability conditions and symptom progression.
- Use provided tools to accurately evaluate the severity of reported disability conditions.
- Clearly and compliantly explain available services and their value to prospective clients.
- Convert qualified prospects into customers through a professional and consultative sales process.
- Address client questions and objections while maintaining appropriate urgency throughout the decision-making process.
- Document client interactions, activities, and relevant information accurately in the CRM.
- Follow applicable compliance, regulatory, sales process, and data privacy requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support accurate invoice processing.
- Participate in ongoing coaching, training, and professional development activities.

Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of inside sales or B2C sales experience.
- Experience working with a CRM system, including Salesforce.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client interactions and priorities.
- Comfort working extensively by phone in a high-volume environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and workplace collaboration tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Previous sales experience in medical, healthcare, or VA-related services.
- Experience working with or supporting the veteran community.
- Experience in a startup or early-stage company environment.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
