About the Role
This opportunity is for a Digital Marketing Manager responsible for leading the digital demand generation engine across paid media, SEO, AEO, GEO, and website performance while directing the execution of an external marketing vendor.
The role also focuses on building a customer marketing program from the ground up, including customer segmentation, lifecycle workflows, customer feedback and reference programs, and cross-sell initiatives targeting the existing customer base.

What You’ll Do
- Digital Marketing Strategy & Vendor Direction: Set digital marketing strategy and review and approve the execution of paid media, SEO, AEO, and GEO programs managed by an external marketing vendor.
- Paid Media Budget Ownership: Take responsibility for a growing digital advertising budget across platforms such as Google and LinkedIn, and report performance against pipeline and revenue goals.
- Website Ownership: Manage the HubSpot-based company website as a lead-generation asset and coordinate ongoing website work with external vendors.
- Marketing Automation & Reporting: Administer HubSpot marketing automation, lead nurture workflows, and funnel and attribution reporting.
- Product Launch Support: Support digital go-to-market activities associated with phased product launches.
- Customer Marketing Program Development: Build the foundational customer marketing infrastructure, including customer segmentation and lifecycle email workflows within the CRM.
- Cross-Sell Campaign Piloting: Design and launch initial cross-sell and upsell campaigns targeting the existing customer base.
- Account Management Collaboration: Refine and strengthen the established lead handoff process with the Account Management team for customer marketing leads.
- HubSpot & CRM Ownership: Manage HubSpot workflows, customer email programs, and marketing dashboards while maintaining working familiarity with Salesforce and outbound tools such as Clay to support alignment across sales and marketing systems.
- Special Projects: Provide support for special projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3–6 years of experience in digital marketing, demand generation, or growth marketing.
- Experience managing external agencies or vendors.
- Background screening, HR technology, or compliance technology industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience using HubSpot for marketing automation, email marketing, website management, and dashboards.
- Working knowledge of paid search and paid social platforms, including Google Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager, with the ability to direct and evaluate vendor strategy and advertising spend.
- Ability to read and interpret Google Analytics and GA4 data, funnel reports, and attribution reporting and translate insights into actionable marketing decisions.
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization, either through hands-on work with landing pages and page copy or by directing an agency testing program.
- Experience building segmented lifecycle email campaigns.
- Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals, including keyword research and SERP tracking, with the ability to effectively direct SEO, AEO, and GEO vendor initiatives.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Clay is a plus.
- Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
