Cleaner (Evenings)

Employment type: Part-time

Pay: $15/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Role overview

You’ll help keep an early childhood education center clean, safe, and ready for daily use by completing evening cleaning tasks in classrooms, restrooms, offices, and shared spaces.

Cleaning duties

• Clean classrooms, restrooms, and offices.
• Vacuum, sweep, and wet mop floors.
• Dust ceiling fans and vents.
• Clean glass surfaces.
• Wipe and disinfect surfaces.
• Restock paper products and soap dispensers.
• Handle paid laundry services for the location.

What you’ll need

• Cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Reliable transportation.
• Team-oriented attitude with ability to complete tasks independently.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Excellent attendance.
• Previous hotel cleaning, housekeeping, apartment cleaning, janitorial, custodial, residential cleaning, or commercial cleaning experience is helpful.

Physical requirements

• Ability to walk, stand, reach, and bend for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move items around 10 pounds.
