About the Role
This is a senior marketing leadership role responsible for evolving and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy during a period of continued growth and market expansion. The position will help strengthen market positioning, advance go-to-market strategies, and accelerate growth across commercial and government markets.
The VP of Marketing will lead both strategic and operational marketing initiatives, with responsibility for demand generation, market positioning, product marketing, marketing operations, and conversion optimization. The role is focused on generating qualified pipeline and improving progression from marketing-generated leads through closed-won business.
This leader will work closely with Sales, SDR, Product, and Channels teams to develop and execute an integrated marketing plan that strengthens enterprise presence and supports long-term revenue growth.
A strong focus on performance marketing, analytics, and AI is essential. The role will use data to continuously improve the marketing funnel, increase conversion rates, and ensure measurable return on investment across campaigns and events.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and Lead Strategic Marketing Initiatives: Lead the evolution of the overall marketing strategy to effectively address market needs and support business growth.
- Own digital marketing, demand generation, content marketing, product marketing, brand, communications, social media, channel marketing, marketing operations, and the website.
- Create compelling value propositions, differentiated messaging, and channel strategies tailored to enterprise audiences.
- Own the full demand generation lifecycle, from campaign and event creation through systematic follow-up of marketing-generated leads.
- Ensure marketing-generated pipeline is properly nurtured, tracked, and converted to Sales.
- Establish clear lead follow-up processes designed to improve conversion throughout every stage of the sales funnel.
- Innovate with Data-Driven Decisions: Use data analytics and AI to evaluate marketing program performance and guide strategic decisions.
- Apply performance insights to refine messaging, optimize the marketing funnel, and measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate Across Departments: Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Channels teams to ensure marketing activities align with sales objectives.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new initiatives and products that resonate with enterprise customers.
- Track and Optimize Key Performance Metrics: Define and own key performance indicators that connect marketing activities directly to revenue growth.
- Measure, track, and report on marketing performance and continuously optimize programs based on data and results.
- Lead Marketing Innovation: Stay current with emerging marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Continuously test and implement new marketing initiatives, technologies, and AI capabilities that can drive growth and create competitive differentiation.
What You’ll Bring
- 8–10+ years of marketing leadership experience, ideally within B2B SaaS and cybersecurity environments.
- A proven track record of leading marketing strategy and execution that drives revenue growth from approximately $10 million to $50 million or more.
- Experience scaling a company into the enterprise market and executing a comprehensive, integrated growth strategy.
- Deep expertise in demand generation, funnel optimization, and multi-channel marketing strategies.
- Hands-on experience with modern marketing tools and technologies.
- Strong product marketing expertise, including ideal customer profile development, positioning, messaging, value propositions, segmentation, vertical marketing, analyst relations, thought leadership, customer insights, competitive analysis, battle cards, and providing input that informs the product roadmap.
- Proven ability to measure and track campaign effectiveness with a clear focus on converting leads into sales.
- Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
- A demonstrated track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
- Ability to design, execute, and optimize scalable marketing processes.
- Ability to implement AI in marketing processes and programs to drive measurable business results.
- Demonstrated ability to use analytics and performance insights to optimize marketing investments, including expanding successful initiatives and quickly reducing or discontinuing tactics that are not producing results.
