About the Role
This role focuses on designing thoughtful, human-centered digital experiences that help people improve their long-term health through intuitive products and innovative care programs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore new ideas, solve complex problems, and transform early concepts into engaging, high-quality product experiences.
You will own the design process from discovery through launch, working across product strategy, user research, prototyping, interaction design, AI-powered experiences, and design systems while helping shape the future direction of new products.
What You'll Do
- Design human-centered experiences that help people make meaningful and lasting improvements to their health.
- Take ownership of 0-to-1 product initiatives by transforming undefined opportunities into validated concepts, prototypes, and production-ready experiences.
- Identify and define the right product problems to solve while discovering new opportunities across member and care team experiences.
- Lead the complete design process from concept development through validation, prototyping, iteration, and final product delivery.
- Create rapid prototypes to explore ideas, validate assumptions, and communicate product concepts.
- Design high-quality mobile experiences for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Apply strong visual design, interaction design, and systems thinking principles to create intuitive user experiences.
- Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Clinical, and Research teams to influence product strategy and support informed decision-making.
- Translate business goals, user needs, and clinical insights into valuable product solutions.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of design systems, design processes, and team best practices.
- Design and deliver AI-powered user experiences.
- Use AI tools throughout the design workflow to generate ideas, prototype concepts, synthesize research, and accelerate design execution.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional product design experience solving complex product challenges.
- Experience leading 0-to-1 or early-stage product initiatives from concept through launch.
- Experience designing products within healthcare, wellness, behavior change, or other human-centered industries.
- Strong commitment to human-centered design supported by user research and real user needs.
- Experience designing and shipping high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Strong product thinking with the ability to define ambiguous problems and shape product direction.
- Excellent interaction design, visual design, and attention to detail.
- Strong prototyping skills used to explore ideas, validate concepts, and support product decisions.
- Experience contributing to and maintaining design systems.
- Experience designing AI-powered products.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools within the product design workflow, including concept generation, prototyping, research synthesis, and design production.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing products for clinical care, healthcare delivery, or chronic condition management.
- Ability to independently conduct user interviews, synthesize research findings, and translate insights into product decisions.
- Experience working within startup environments.
- Self-directed approach with a strong sense of ownership from discovery through product launch.
