About the Role
This opportunity is for a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a strong frontend focus and the ability to contribute independently across the stack. The role owns React and TypeScript product surfaces used in payments dashboards, reporting, embedded experiences, and internal tooling, while also contributing to the Python APIs and data integrations that support those applications.
The position combines frontend architecture, full-stack feature ownership, API development, system design, financial workflow UX, and engineering standards. The engineer will work closely with product, design, backend engineering, operations, compliance, and payments stakeholders while helping scale reliable financial technology products and internal systems.
What You'll Do
Own the Frontend Architecture
- Lead frontend architecture decisions involving component design, state management, performance, and scalability.
- Design and implement React and TypeScript interfaces for payments dashboards, reporting surfaces, and embedded product experiences.
- Translate complex financial workflows into intuitive, accessible user interfaces.
- Help establish and scale the frontend platform through shared component libraries, tooling, and reusable engineering patterns.
Contribute Across the Stack
- Build and extend Python APIs that support frontend features.
- Collaborate with backend engineers on data contracts, API design, and integration patterns.
- Participate in system design discussions and bring a product-quality perspective to backend implementation decisions.
Drive Frontend Standards
- Establish and maintain frontend best practices, component libraries, and design patterns for a growing engineering team.
- Mentor engineers and conduct code reviews with a focus on quality, consistency, and maintainability.
- Partner with product and design to refine requirements and challenge unclear scope or user experience decisions when needed.
Support Internal Tooling
- Build and improve internal tools used by operations, compliance, and payments teams.
- Maintain high standards for reliability and usability across customer-facing and internal product surfaces.
