About the Role
This opportunity is for a Program Coordinator responsible for executing customer projects and supporting optimized retention marketing strategies across SMS and email. The position works closely with Customer Success, Support, and Professional Services teams to deliver onboarding and recurring service engagements, coordinate customer priorities, and help ensure successful platform adoption.
The role combines customer-facing program execution with hands-on marketing operations. Responsibilities include building campaigns, segments, journeys, reports, and transactional messaging, applying channel best practices, maintaining customer engagement, translating feedback into product recommendations, and keeping internal workflows and documentation accurate.
What You'll Do
- Deliver onboarding and recurring service engagements designed to create measurable value for customers.
- Build and manage List Growth tools, Segments, Campaigns, Journeys, Reports, and email sends within the customer engagement platform.
- Execute and support cross-channel retention marketing initiatives, including promotional email campaigns, automated journeys, SMS programs, and transactional messaging.
- Apply SMS and email best practices to improve customer engagement, conversion, retention, and overall campaign performance.
- Coordinate customer projects with Customer Success, Support, and Professional Services teams to maintain alignment with customer marketing goals.
- Develop strong working relationships with customers and cross-functional internal teams.
- Manage assigned customer accounts in partnership with account teams to support continued engagement and successful platform adoption.
- Provide creative solutions and execute customer requests quickly while following relevant industry best practices.
- Translate customer feedback into clear, actionable product recommendations.
- Act as an extension of customer teams by providing accurate, responsive, and detail-oriented execution.
- Update internal workflows and documentation to keep information accurate and current.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 1–2 years of customer-facing experience, preferably in Customer Success, Support, or an agency environment.
- Experience supporting customers, managing priorities, and contributing to customer-facing projects or ongoing service engagements.
Required Skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively.
- High attention to detail and the ability to execute customer-facing work accurately and efficiently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort communicating through Slack and Zoom.
- Ability to learn new platforms quickly and develop creative workarounds when limitations arise.
- Understanding of how day-to-day execution contributes to customer goals and overall program success.
- Working knowledge of customer performance metrics, including List Growth, Revenue, and Message-Level Performance.
- Ability to work collaboratively while remaining proactive, responsive, and comfortable with hands-on execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SaaS or e-commerce platforms.
- Experience executing email marketing campaigns, automated journeys, and transactional messaging.
