Warehouse Associate

Employment type: Full-time

Pay: $23.50/hour

Schedule: Saturday-Tuesday, 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Warehouse operations

You’ll support shipping, receiving, inventory, order fulfillment, material movement, and product preparation in warehouse areas that include climate-controlled, refrigerated, freezer, and non-climate-controlled environments.

Daily responsibilities

• Stage and sort products accurately for loading.
• Load and unload trailers.
• Move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Sort and place products in racks and designated storage areas.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and prepare them for packing or shipping.
• Package and kit finished products using shrink wrap, boxes, and labels.
• Scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Perform quality checks and identify damaged products.
• Maintain inventory records and complete daily logs.
• Count or weigh products to verify quantities.
• Prepare parcels for shipment.
• Assemble containers and crates using hand tools and precut lumber.
• Pack and re-pack containers as needed.
• Store perishable goods in refrigerated areas.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment where applicable.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all warehouse safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong reading skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
• Flexibility to work overtime preferred.
• Reliable and predictable attendance required.
• Background investigation and drug screening required.

Physical requirements

• Ability to move frequently and stand, walk, and sit during the shift.
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work safely in refrigerated and freezer areas.
