Warehouse Staff

Employment type: Full-time and part-time

Pay: $17.00/hour minimum, higher starting pay available based on experience

Position summary

This role supports daily warehouse and store operations by pulling orders, replenishing product, moving merchandise, and assisting customers. You will spend your day checking inventory, staging orders, loading product for customers, and operating equipment such as a forklift while keeping the work area safe and organized.

What you’ll do

• Follow all safety procedures and work safely around equipment and moving vehicles.
• Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Restock the sales floor and replenish product as needed.
• Organize merchandise to store standards so customers can shop easily.
• Compile customer orders and stage product for pickup.
• Load customers with the correct product and help move merchandise to vehicles.
• Assist customers with questions and help them locate products.
• Support other areas of the store as needed.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.

What you’ll need

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic math skills.
• Warehouse experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and perform well under pressure.
• Forklift and heavy equipment experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to complete forklift certification through the employer.
• Where required by state law, heavy equipment certification may require passing a drug test.

Work environment and physical requirements

• Work includes a warehouse environment and exposure to moving vehicles.
• Noise level is typically quiet to moderate.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull, with occasional force of 30 to 60 lbs and frequent force of 20 to 30 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing or balancing, and occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
