Warehouse Associate

Location: Austin, TX

Pay: $17.00 to $25.00 per hour

Position overview

Support outbound shipping by pulling, preparing, and packaging orders accurately. You will verify labels and quantities, coordinate pickups, move inventory with warehouse equipment, and keep shipments and inventory records up to date.

What you will do

• Verify shipping details including labels, addresses, and quantities, then document shipments and finished goods in the system
• Prepare non-stock shipments and pull stock items, confirming part numbers and quantities
• Coordinate with carriers and schedule pickups as needed
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to move, load, unload, and organize inventory
• Track outbound shipments in warehouse software and report inventory discrepancies
• Inspect packaging materials and ensure shipments are secure and intact
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and follow safety rules
• Support continuous improvement, minor warehouse or building upkeep, and other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of warehouse experience
• General knowledge of warehouse procedures and good housekeeping practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills and comfort using business or warehouse software
• Ability to lift up to 55 lb
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience

• Warehouse setting with moving equipment and packaging machinery
