Sales Specialist
Remote (United States)
Status: Full-time
Pay: ~ $28.85 to $36.06 per hour (based on an annual base salary range of $60,000 to $75,000)
Role overview
This inside sales role supports a fast growing portfolio of health and wellness pet brands. You will partner closely with the field sales team to drive distribution growth, virtual selling, and marketing execution with independent pet stores across the Western United States. The focus is on expanding points of distribution, strengthening relationships with smaller accounts, and making sure products are visible, well merchandised, and supported with the right tools to sell.
Your day to day
- Work with assigned small and independent pet stores to present new products and expand distribution across your territory.
- Promote and secure in store merchandising materials and consumer sales tools so products are easy to find and shop.
- Drive participation in company led marketing programs and online training for store teams.
- Use trade funds strategically to win new placements and premium display space.
- Review sales data to spot slow moving inventory or weak order patterns and take action to protect and improve shelf position.
- Support the territory sales manager and help with trade and consumer events as needed.

Qualifications
- Business degree or equivalent experience.
- 1 to 2 years of sales related experience or recent graduation in a business field required.
- 3 or more years in internal or external sales roles preferred.
- Comfort using standard business tools, including email, online meeting platforms, and productivity software.
