Warehouse Associate

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional overtime and weekend work
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00/hour
Position summary
This role supports shipping, receiving, fabrication, installation, and repair work in a warehouse and shop environment. You will help build and repair conveyor belts and related components, maintain accurate shipping records, and support customer deliveries and onsite work when needed.
What you’ll do
- Build and repair belts and conveyor belt components.
- Install and vulcanize lightweight conveyor belting.
- Receive and verify incoming parts, materials, and supplies.
- Maintain the stock area and follow sales orders.
- Ship product and verify and record items loaded for shipment.
- Work with truck carriers and couriers.
- Fabricate, install, and repair conveyor belting and related systems.
- Maintain accurate shipping records, including returned goods.
- Maintain shipment data in the database.
- Notify a supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions.
- Pick up and deliver orders, stock, and supplies.
- Keep the work area neat and orderly.
- Use tools and equipment safely and wear required PPE.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
What you’ll need
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organization, prioritization, and attention to detail.
- Strong mechanical background and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to interpret and verify precise measurements using a tape measure.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights and in tight spaces.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Maintenance or belt technician experience preferred.
Work environment
This position works in a shop and warehouse setting around moving mechanical parts and equipment. Noise levels can be loud.
Physical requirements
This role requires lifting and moving up to 50 lbs, manual dexterity, and regular use of hands, arms, back, and shoulders. The work may involve extended standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting.
