About the Role
This opportunity is for an Sales Administrative Assistant / Business Development Associate supporting senior sales leadership and internal operations. The role focuses on managing administrative workflows, coordinating sales activities, and helping maintain a steady pipeline of prospects while ensuring all clerical and operational details are handled efficiently.
This position also offers strong growth potential, with the opportunity to transition into an Inside Sales role based on performance.
What You’ll Do
- Manage calendars, emails, and task lists for senior leadership
- Schedule appointments, calls, meetings, and webinars
- Place outbound calls and send follow-up emails using structured processes and templates
- Track projects, tasks, and reminders to ensure timely execution
- Maintain and update CRM systems, client portals, and internal databases
- Research potential clients using online sources including company websites and professional platforms
- Create and manage follow-up reminders and task tracking within CRM systems
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients
- Monitor and track project progress, ensuring proper follow-up and completion
- Maintain accurate records and submit timesheets as required
- Support additional administrative and operational tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Effective time management and multitasking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service mindset and professional communication style
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Docs
- Ability to navigate online resources for research and data gathering
- Experience working with CRM systems is preferred
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience/training
- 3–5 years of related experience or a combination of education and experience
