Warehouse Associate

Pay: $16.85 - $21.06/hour

Warehouse position summary

This warehouse role supports donation handling, truck unloading, product sorting, weighing, trailer loading, stock tracking, and general warehouse organization. You will help keep materials moving accurately and safely while maintaining clean aisles, organized staging areas, and reliable documentation.

What you’ll do

• Unload donations from trucks onto carts in the warehouse.
• Separate soft goods, hard goods, large items, and furniture into the correct areas.
• Weigh carts and organize full carts in the warehouse.
• Complete route paperwork accurately, including weights and truck checks.
• Load trailers according to established loading guidelines.
• Record product weights and product types while loading trailers.
• Assist with daily stock-on-hand counts and data entry.
• Load and unload trucks for transfers to stores.
• Stack boxes and bags on carts for weight verification.
• Place large items and furniture in designated areas.
• Keep aisles and walkways clean and free of debris.
• Use a calculator to add or deduct tare weights and determine net weights.
• Record cart numbers, weights, and unload times on driver route forms.
• Complete delivery reports with all required information.
• Count and record stock on hand in the warehouse and trailers each day.
• Check forklifts to confirm safe operating conditions and compliance requirements.
• Perform other assigned duties, including housekeeping of office and restroom areas.

What you’ll need

• Working knowledge of OSHA, state, and workplace safety requirements.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Ability to manage multiple incoming and outgoing truck loads.
• Ability to create receiving logs and load sheets.
• Ability to follow written, oral, diagram, and schedule-based instructions.
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multitask with minimal direction.
• Strong attention to detail.

Physical requirements

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to pull or push a pallet jack.
• Ability to pull or push loaded carts onto a scale for weighing.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with extreme temperatures.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift continuously throughout the workday.
