Client Service Associate
New York (Remote)
Status: Full Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000 per year per year, based on experience
About the Role
This opportunity is for a permanently remote Client Service Associate supporting a financial planning and investment management environment. The role is focused on delivering accurate, responsive client service while helping advisors with meeting preparation, account administration, portfolio updates, and other essential operational tasks.
This position is open to candidates located in the Eastern and Central time zones. Equipment will be provided for a home-based setup, and a dedicated workspace suitable for full-time remote work is expected.

What You’ll Do
- Respond to client requests with a strong focus on timeliness and accuracy
- Assist advisors with client meeting preparation and follow-up activities
- Process account opening applications, transfer paperwork, money movements, and other industry-specific administrative tasks
- Update internal portfolio models using Morningstar and the broker-dealer model management system when quarterly model updates are issued
- Manage calendars for financial advisors, including scheduling client appointments
- Prepare materials and provide support for retirement plan meetings
- Help identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and overall team efficiency
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of financial services experience
- Previous remote work experience
- Strong technical skills and comfort working with third-party software and Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience with financial planning software such as RightCapital, IncomeLab, and Morningstar
- Ability to travel to the Hopewell, New Jersey office for quarterly internal strategic planning meetings, or at least semiannually
- Series 7 and 66 licenses, or Series 63 and 65
- Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and meet deadlines
- Ability to anticipate client and advisor needs
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to learn and apply new technology and software quickly
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
- Ability to follow established office processes and policies related to operations and client privacy
