About the Role

This opportunity is for an experienced engineering leader to guide multiple teams responsible for building and scaling core product capabilities that support clinical workflows, care coordination, and data-driven operations.

This role is seeking a leader who can translate product strategy into reliable, scalable technology solutions while ensuring consistent delivery, strong architectural standards, and efficient use of resources.

You will operate across both strategic and execution layers — shaping engineering direction, mentoring technical leaders, and strengthening systems that support platform growth.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $170,000 – $190,000 annually + bonus + equity

What You’ll Do

• Lead multiple cross-functional engineering teams delivering core product and platform capabilities
• Ensure predictable execution of engineering roadmaps within defined timelines, budgets, and team capacity
• Partner closely with Product leadership to translate strategy into clear engineering plans
• Provide input on technical feasibility, cost estimation, and resource planning
• Track delivery milestones and proactively mitigate risks impacting roadmap commitments
• Mentor Tech Leads and engineers in building scalable, secure, and maintainable systems
• Ensure architectural consistency across teams and support design reviews and decision-making
• Collaborate with platform teams to leverage shared infrastructure, APIs, and data services
• Establish best practices for testing, code quality, performance, and system reliability
• Work with SRE and Security teams to improve observability, incident response, and compliance standards
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted tools and automation to improve engineering productivity
• Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing engineers and technical leaders
• Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams
• Proven experience leading multiple teams delivering complex SaaS products
• Strong understanding of modern web architectures and distributed systems
• Experience collaborating with Product and cross-functional stakeholders
• Experience planning and delivering roadmaps within budget and resource constraints
• Demonstrated ability to scale teams and engineering processes
• Strong communication, leadership, and mentorship skills

Technical Experience

• Modern frontend technologies such as React and TypeScript
• Backend architectures using Node.js or similar technologies
• Distributed systems and API-driven platforms
• Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana
• CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building healthcare or regulated industry platforms
• Familiarity with secure data environments and compliance-driven systems
• Experience with data platforms, analytics systems, or integration-heavy architectures
• Experience adopting AI-assisted development tools
