About the Role
An experienced Technical Account Manager is needed to manage and strengthen client relationships in a fully remote U.S.-based role. This position works closely with customers, sales, and support teams to understand business needs, address technical challenges, and deliver effective solutions that help clients achieve their goals.
This role requires a strong background in enterprise storage solutions, solid technical expertise, and excellent customer-facing skills.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $110,000 - $165,000 per year
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor
- Understand each client’s business needs, technical environment, and long-term goals
- Guide clients through the production onboarding process
- Provide support and training to help clients gain maximum value from the product or service
- Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address issues or concerns before they lead to churn
- Act as the internal advocate for clients by sharing feedback and needs with internal teams, including product development
- Help influence future offerings by communicating customer priorities clearly across internal teams
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and collaborate with sales to expand client relationships
- Work closely with customers, sales, and support teams to develop and implement solutions that meet client goals
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong service and communication standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a preference for a STEM degree, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of experience in a technical account management or customer success manager role
- Current, strong Linux system administration skills
- Windows system administration experience preferred
- Strong understanding of enterprise storage solutions
- Strong technical skills gained through work with IT system administrators or developers
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Relevant experience with HPC or large-scale storage environments is highly valuable
