About the Role
This opportunity is for an Account Executive focused on owning and closing new customer deals in a fast-evolving technical software market. The role involves managing the sales process from the first meeting through signed contract, identifying expansion opportunities within enterprise accounts, and helping customers understand how modern developer, API, infrastructure, and AI-related solutions can create business value.
This position is ideal for a technical sales professional who can navigate complex organizations, engage technical and executive stakeholders, manage deal cycles with precision, and build long-term customer relationships.
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $110,000 - $210,000 per year OTE, including base salary and variable compensation
Additional Compensation: Equity and benefits offered
What You’ll Do
- Own and close new customer deals from the first meeting through signed contract.
- Identify and develop expansion opportunities within an enterprise customer base that includes major global brands.
- Navigate complex organizations and sell across platform teams, AI and machine learning teams, security teams, and executive leadership.
- Build and execute account engagement plans for enterprise customers across industries using AI agent and modern software use cases.
- Educate customers on emerging AI architectures and how technical software solutions fit into their data and developer stack.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to share real-time customer insights that support roadmap, positioning, and product development.
- Track, forecast, and report on pipeline health and deal progress with accuracy, ownership, and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a technical sales professional with a track record of sourcing and managing a sales process from end to end.
- Strong curiosity and enough technical depth to understand cutting-edge products such as AI, infrastructure, and developer tools.
- Ability to translate technical products into clear business value for customers.
- Skill in navigating complex organizations and engaging multiple stakeholders, including technical, legal, security, and executive decision-makers.
- Ability to run disciplined and efficient deal cycles.
- Comfort with ambiguity and selling new products in emerging categories.
- Trusted-advisor mindset with the ability to build relationships that create long-term value, not just one-time wins.
- Experience using AI sales and prospecting tools.
Nice to Have
- Experience selling developer-first platforms or API infrastructure tooling to technical buyers.
- Experience selling to platform teams, architects, or VP-level engineering buyers.
- Familiarity with AI and LLM workflows, including internal agents, RAG pipelines, or AI-powered applications.
- Understanding of API security, observability, and orchestration challenges in enterprise environments.
- Early-stage or zero-to-one sales experience, including helping reposition or launch new products in a dynamic market.
