Warehouse Associate

Role overview

You’ll support warehouse operations by sorting, handling, loading, unloading, and moving freight using safe work practices and warehouse equipment.

What you’ll do

• Sort, handle, load, and unload freight from over-the-road equipment, containers, city trailers, and straight trucks.
• Use safe lifting techniques while moving freight throughout the warehouse.
• Operate material handling equipment safely, including hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
• Work with different departments to support daily business needs.
• Communicate loading, unloading, or warehouse issues to the supervisor.
• Stay current with warehouse systems and technology.
• Participate in inventory processes, audits, and discrepancy research.
• Maintain reliability, punctuality, and consistent attendance.
• Complete assigned warehouse tasks based on client and operational requirements.

What you’ll need

• Ability to work well with a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work overtime as needed to meet operational and customer demands.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Physical and work environment

• Regular movement, standing, and bending for long periods of time.
• Ability to maneuver through work areas and move or handle various objects.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers and outside stakeholders in person.
• Computer-related messaging may be required from time to time.
• Extended work hours and travel may be required.

• Successful completion of a criminal background check is required as a condition of employment.
• Authorization to work in the United States must be confirmed when requested.
