Role overview
You’ll support warehouse operations by receiving and storing inventory, coordinating with technicians, vendors, and office staff, maintaining stock accuracy, and helping daily operations run smoothly.
What you’ll do
- Receive, warehouse, and distribute inventory according to warehouse processes.
- Complete 3-way administrative matching for received orders.
- Inspect shipments for damage or missing items.
- Coordinate will-call pickups.
- Handle RGA and RMA processes.
- Resolve logistics issues as needed.
- Conduct physical counts and reconcile product counts with inventory data.
- Maintain technician truck stock, carts, and inventory usage reports.
- Order needed stock and inventory items.
- Assist managers, technicians, and installers when needed.
- Stage doors in advance for upcoming work.
- Help load technician and installer trucks.
- Deliver miscellaneous parts to technicians and installers.
- Inspect warehouse equipment and vehicles for proper function.
- Support warehouse layout and efficient space use.
- Coordinate fleet vehicle repairs.
- Complete other assigned warehouse duties.
What you’ll need
- 3+ years of warehouse experience.
- Forklift experience.
- Current valid driver’s license.
- Strong computer skills.
- Inventory control and inventory management skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures, equipment maintenance, and warehouse best practices.
- Ability to maintain warehouse processes.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work positively and productively with others.
- Neat appearance.
- This position may be subject to random drug testing.
Physical and work environment
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and carry items up to 50 feet.
- Ability to walk and carry items on uneven ground.
- Ability to use support equipment to lift and move heavier items.
- Manual dexterity in both hands for hand tool use.
- Work may include restricted spaces and both indoor and outdoor conditions.
- Exposure to outside weather conditions may occur when transporting materials.
- Ability to communicate spoken instructions clearly and accurately.
- Ability to hear and understand information at normal speaking levels.
- Noise levels may be high when operating power equipment.
- Proper safety equipment must be used when required.
