About the Role
A remote-first digital commerce and technology organization is seeking a Client Insights Analyst to support client-facing analytics, reporting, dashboard maintenance, data quality, and business performance insights. This role works closely with data leadership, client stakeholders, and internal Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams to turn complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
The Client Insights Analyst will help deliver recurring reports, maintain dashboards, validate datasets, prepare data extracts, document reporting logic, and analyze business trends across platform, product, and customer behavior data. This role is ideal for someone with strong SQL skills, excellent attention to detail, sound business judgment, and the ability to balance urgent reporting needs with longer-term analytical initiatives.
Schedule: Central Time Zone business hours
Compensation: $77,000 - $90,000 per year
Work Arrangement: Fully remote within the continental United States
What You’ll Do
- Support the delivery of recurring reports, dashboards, data extracts, and analytical outputs for internal teams and client-facing stakeholders.
- Analyze platform, product performance, and customer behavior data to identify trends, anomalies, business drivers, and opportunities for improvement.
- Translate well-scoped business questions into clear analytical approaches, structured outputs, and actionable findings.
- Write, validate, and maintain SQL queries used for reporting, analysis, dashboard support, and data extracts.
- Perform quality assurance on dashboards, datasets, metrics, and recurring deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Investigate business questions and summarize findings in a clear, organized, and business-relevant way.
- Explain analytical approaches, methodology, assumptions, and findings to internal teams and, when needed, in client-facing settings.
- Contribute to documentation, metric definitions, data dictionaries, and reporting methodology to support a consistent source of truth.
- Partner with Data Solutions, Product, and Engineering teammates to troubleshoot data issues, clarify reporting logic, and improve data quality.
- Support the preparation of client-facing deliverables, working session materials, business review content, and performance reporting packages.
- Help strengthen analytics capabilities by improving reporting processes, documentation standards, and data service quality.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, data analysis, or a closely related role.
- Strong SQL skills with experience using data to answer business questions, support reporting, and analyze performance trends.
- Experience building, maintaining, and validating dashboards and reports in business intelligence tools.
- Tableau experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills.
- Ability to identify trends, interpret results, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and communicate findings clearly.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Awareness of responsible data handling practices.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support client-facing analytical work.
- Strong attention to detail, accountability, curiosity, and a customer-focused approach to analytics.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
- Experience in travel, eCommerce, marketplaces, loyalty programs, or digital consumer products.
- Experience supporting client-facing analytics, reporting, or product teams.
- Exposure to product analytics, conversion analysis, or digital web analytics.
- Familiarity with data governance concepts, data privacy, and data security best practices.
