About the Role
This opportunity is for a Head of Growth Marketing to build and lead a scalable growth and demand generation engine that reaches, engages, and converts nonprofits and grant-funded organizations from first touch through free-trial activation and Sales handoff. This full-time remote U.S. role requires a senior growth marketing leader who can define strategy, own pipeline performance, rapidly test new growth opportunities, and manage execution through contractors and agencies while building the foundation for a future in-house team.
The role combines ownership of multi-channel demand generation, conversion optimization, analytics, experimentation, AI-powered workflows, and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will establish growth targets, optimize the customer journey, improve marketing performance through data-driven decision-making, and build repeatable systems that support long-term, scalable pipeline growth.

What You’ll Do
Growth & Demand Generation
- Build and own a multi-channel demand engine across SEO, SEM, paid social, email, and emerging channels.
- Set growth targets and own the resourcing plan, execution approach, and outcomes behind them.
- Develop creative campaigns and messaging that encourage nonprofits and grant-funded organizations to engage and convert.
- Lead the AEO and GEO approach to improve visibility across traditional search and AI-powered discovery.
Funnel & Conversion
- Own the conversion funnel from first touch through free-trial activation and Sales handoff.
- Partner with Product and RevOps to optimize landing pages, onboarding flows, and lead routing.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Work with product marketing, brand, and events teams to build integrated campaigns.
- Align with Sales on lead quality and pipeline performance.
- Partner with RevOps and Finance on attribution, budgeting, and ROI.
Team & Operations
- Set up dashboards and reporting infrastructure to support data-driven decision-making.
- Build a rigorous test-and-learn model using structured experiments, fast iteration, and clear learnings.
- Use AI tools to accelerate execution and build workflows that compound over time.
- Manage execution through contractors and agencies while owning strategy and channel decisions.
- Support future team growth as the demand generation engine expands.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in demand generation, growth marketing, or performance marketing at B2B SaaS companies.
- Proven track record owning a pipeline number and building a multi-channel demand engine.
- Hands-on experience across SEO, SEM, paid social, email, AEO, and CRO.
- Experience managing execution through contractors and agencies while owning strategy and channel decisions.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, including experience working with product marketing, Sales, Product, RevOps, and Finance.
- Creative marketing ability with a track record of campaigns that convert.
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to operate with high standards.
- Ability to balance independent ownership with cross-team collaboration.
- Comfort testing quickly, learning from results, and improving campaigns over time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building a growth function from the ground up at an early-stage company.
- Experience marketing to nonprofits, mission-driven organizations, or grant-funded organizations.
