Compensation: $33.65 – $38.46 per hour , plus eligibility for a 10% annual bonus.
About the Role
The Onboarding Specialist will help new clients become confident, effective users of the platform. This role focuses on client onboarding, implementation support, product training, adoption strategy, workflow transformation, and long-term product usage.
The position involves designing client-specific learning paths, leading configuration and training sessions, consulting with client teams, identifying adoption barriers, and helping customers successfully move from manual processes to automated financial workflows.
What You’ll Do
- Design and deliver customized training programs for different user groups, including accounts payable clerks, controllers, finance leaders, and executive stakeholders.
- Define, track, and report on key adoption metrics to measure the effectiveness of onboarding, training, and enablement efforts.
- Review client usage data to identify low-adoption accounts and proactively work with those clients to understand friction points and provide targeted re-education.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership and help teams navigate the shift from manual finance processes to automated workflows.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams by sharing client feedback, user friction points, and training insights discovered during onboarding and enablement sessions.
- Map existing client workflows and help redesign them into streamlined, platform-supported accounts payable automation processes.
- Act as a primary consultant for client leadership by identifying project risks, negotiating commitments to the critical path, maintaining project momentum, and supporting on-time go-lives.
Qualifications
- 1–5 years of experience in customer implementation, customer enablement, corporate training, product adoption, or a similar SaaS environment.
- Ability to translate complex technical functionality into clear, simple, actionable steps for non-technical users.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to lead both one-on-one deep-dive sessions and larger group trainings for 50+ participants.
- Strong understanding of the accounts payable lifecycle or general B2B financial operations is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at the same time while meeting tight deadlines.
- Working knowledge of CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel as required, up to 10%.
