About the Role
This opportunity is for a Workday Technical Consultant with strong experience supporting, improving, and maintaining enterprise HR and financial systems within the Workday ecosystem.
The role focuses on Workday system functionality, integrations, reporting, troubleshooting, data accuracy, workflow optimization, and technical collaboration across HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and other business stakeholders.
The Workday Technical Consultant will help maintain platform stability, improve business processes, support ongoing enhancements, and deliver scalable technical solutions across multiple Workday modules.
What You’ll Do
- Support and enhance Workday configurations, workflows, and overall system functionality.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between Workday and third-party systems.
- Assist with Workday reporting, analytics, dashboards, and data validation efforts.
- Partner with functional and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
- Recommend scalable technical solutions that improve Workday processes, system performance, and long-term platform usability.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues related to integrations, reporting logic, system performance, and data accuracy.
- Participate in testing cycles, deployments, system upgrades, and production support activities.
- Support ongoing Workday platform enhancements and process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and other internal teams to maintain reliable Workday operations and improve system workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong technical understanding of the Workday platform and its core architecture.
- Experience working with Workday integrations, reporting, and system configuration in a production environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues involving enterprise systems, integrations, reporting logic, data quality, or system functionality.
- Ability to clearly explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience supporting enterprise business applications in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
- Familiarity with HR, Payroll, Financials, or Time Tracking processes within Workday.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment that requires technical development, issue resolution, reporting support, and business-facing collaboration.
Additional Experience That Would Be Helpful
- Exposure to advanced Workday reporting, analytics, dashboards, or data validation capabilities.
- Experience supporting custom applications or platform extensions.
- Understanding of Workday security concepts and reporting tools.
- Background working in environments with ongoing system enhancements, integrations, platform optimization, or digital transformation initiatives.
