Role overview
You’ll manage full-cycle recruiting for public accounting roles, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer support, onboarding coordination, and building strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
What you’ll do
- Identify and engage passive candidates for accounting roles such as tax, audit, and accounting positions.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, databases, social media, and other online platforms.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future accounting hiring needs.
- Conduct resume screenings and preliminary interviews.
- Assess candidate qualifications, skills, experience, and culture fit.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and recruiting teams.
- Support offer delivery and candidate communication.
- Onboard new hires in the system and partner with HR to support a positive onboarding experience.
- Work with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements, technical skills, certifications, and experience needs.
- Promote company values, culture, and career opportunities to attract accounting talent.
- Stay current on accounting hiring trends, compensation, competitor activity, and market conditions.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity in the ATS.
- Provide regular sourcing and recruiting updates to the team.
What you’ll need
- 4+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in finance or accounting recruitment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with accounting roles and qualifications such as CPA, CIA, and EA.
- Understanding of accounting principles is a plus.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, ATS platforms, and sourcing tools.
- Experience with Boolean searches.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to engage and attract passive candidates.
- Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects at the same time.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work closely with recruiters, HR, and hiring managers in a fast-paced environment.
