About the Role
This opportunity is for an entry-level Bookkeeper who is committed to delivering accurate, high-quality financial services and helping small business owners better understand their financial information. The role works closely with an Account Manager on client strategy, execution, and monthly reporting.
The Bookkeeper will maintain accurate financial records, support multiple client accounts, and help ensure financial data is processed according to established policies and deadlines. This position offers structure, professional support, and room to grow for someone beginning a career in bookkeeping or accounting.
The ideal candidate is a resourceful problem-solver who can balance multiple projects, think critically, work independently, and remain focused on accuracy and results in a structured, fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Process weekly financial transactions for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online
- Assist with payroll and sales tax filings
- Support the management of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and review weekly client dashboards, cash forecasts, and financial reports
- Participate in Zoom meetings with clients to review financial information and learn about client strategy
- Communicate regularly with clients by email regarding their financial records, questions, and outstanding needs
- Provide support for additional bookkeeping projects as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely financial records for assigned client accounts
- Follow established policies and procedures
- Complete assigned work accurately and within required deadlines
- Collaborate closely with the Account Manager on client execution and monthly reporting
- Help deliver timely, high-quality financial reports that support informed business decisions
Qualifications
- Some professional experience or coursework in bookkeeping, accounting, finance, or a related field
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online is preferred but not required; training will be provided to the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Comfort using Excel, Word, Zoom, and similar business tools
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivation, discipline, and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work with small business owners in a supportive, professional, and judgment-free manner
- Comfort working in a structured and fast-paced remote environment
