Package Handler

Employment type: Part-time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3 hours per day

Role overview

You’ll support package management services at a luxury apartment property by organizing package rooms, maintaining locker systems, logging deliveries, assisting residents, and keeping package records accurate.

What you’ll do

• Maintain package rooms and locker systems at the assigned property.
• Build an on-site presence by supporting residents with package questions and account inquiries.
• Log recently delivered packages into the package management system.
• Deliver specific packages to resident doors or units.
• Arrange and label packages on shelves so residents can find them quickly.
• Identify aging or stale packages through physical audits and software review.
• Maintain system accuracy through package room organization and regular follow-up.
• Handle email correspondence with residents, property staff, and management.
• Serve as a liaison between the property and support team.
• Troubleshoot lightweight locker or package room hardware and software issues as needed.
• Complete additional duties as business needs change.

What you’ll need

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1 to 2 years of customer service experience in a client-facing role.
• Reliable transportation, such as a personal vehicle or access to public transit.
• Comfort using technology, including package management software, Google Suite, and Apple hardware or software.
• Strong organization and independent problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Friendly, professional approach with residents and property staff.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Willingness to cover shifts or make up missed hours as needed.

Physical and work environment

• Ability to lift, arrange, and move packages safely.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods when needed.
• Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures, including heat and cold.
• Ability to maneuver safely within storage areas.
