This opportunity is for a Digital Copywriting Specialist who can create persuasive, polished, and performance-focused marketing content for B2B audiences. The role is ideal for a versatile writer who can move quickly across channels while using data, audience insights, and campaign results to improve creative decisions.
The position supports digital marketing, lead generation, revenue growth, click-through-rate improvement, and audience engagement across email, web, social media, paid campaigns, product messaging, executive communications, and multi-asset marketing campaigns.
This role is connected to a financial technology software environment serving business clients, including solutions related to certified payroll and fringe benefit management for the construction industry.
What You’ll Do
Marketing Copy and Content Creation
- Create engaging and persuasive short-form and long-form marketing copy for B2B channels.
- Write content for email campaigns, web pages, social media posts, blog articles, video scripts, digital ads, marketing collateral, and executive or internal decks.
- Translate product features and customer proof into compelling narratives, headlines, and calls to action.
- Develop messaging that resonates with target audiences and supports business goals.
- Write social content, executive ghostwritten content, paid campaign copy, and audience-focused marketing materials.
Research, Interviews, and Product Storytelling
- Interview subject matter experts and customers to develop authentic, useful, and credible content.
- Quickly build a strong understanding of the product, audience, and market position.
- Use product knowledge and customer insights to help strengthen the organization’s voice in the market.
- Turn technical product information, customer examples, and business proof points into clear marketing stories.
Email Marketing and Campaign Optimization
- Develop, execute, and analyze email marketing campaigns in HubSpot.
- Use email campaigns to nurture leads, promote products, and drive audience engagement.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
- Conduct A/B tests to improve email performance, engagement, and conversion outcomes.
- Use campaign data to make copy, messaging, and creative improvements.
Search Visibility and Content Performance
- Use SEO, GEO, and AEO skills to improve online visibility and search performance.
- Conduct keyword research to identify valuable content and search opportunities.
- Optimize content to attract organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
- Measure copy impact with analytics and quickly revise content based on data insights.
Campaign Messaging and Brand Voice
- Partner with the Copy Lead to develop campaign messaging from concept through rollout.
- Own campaign workstreams and help build multi-asset content packs.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across campaign assets and marketing channels.
- Establish and maintain style guides, templates, and tone governance.
- Ensure copy, structure, voice, headlines, rhythm, and calls to action are aligned across channels.
Collaboration and Team Support
- Work independently while knowing when to ask for input or support.
- Collaborate with partners and teammates to improve the final quality of marketing work.
- Mentor partners on voice, copy structure, headlines, rhythm, and calls to action.
- Help elevate the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of team copy.
- Prioritize and execute work across multiple projects and competing deadlines.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional copywriting or content marketing experience.
- B2B SaaS or fintech background is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign metrics.
- Ability to translate data into actionable copy, content, and campaign insights.
- Portfolio showing versatility across formats, including short-form social content, long-form thought leadership, technical product copy, and executive communications.
- Ability to write polished content with a fast turnaround.
- Strong copyediting skills and close attention to detail.
- Ability to work as a proactive, creative, and collaborative self-starter.
- Ability to execute independently while also knowing when to seek feedback or support.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Ability to support revenue growth, lead generation, click-through-rate improvement, and audience engagement through strong copy and campaign execution.
