About the Role
The HR Compliance Specialist supports human resources compliance programs, workforce reporting, policy governance, audit readiness, immigration coordination, and employment law compliance. This position works closely with HR, HRIS, Legal, leadership, and external partners to maintain accurate compliance processes, identify regulatory risks, and ensure HR practices remain aligned with applicable requirements.
What You’ll Do
General
- Follow applicable safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements.
- Partner with a global immigration vendor to support immigration services and related compliance activities.
- Own recurring and ad hoc HR compliance and workforce audit reporting, including AAP, EEO-1, ADA, VETS-4212, and state-mandated reports.
- Work with HRIS partners to define reporting requirements and validate HR data integrity.
- Collaborate with HRIS to maintain systems that support compliance reporting and audit readiness.
Policy Governance & Risk Management
- Maintain and update HR policies to ensure alignment with applicable labor laws and internal governance standards.
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise HR leadership when policy or process updates are needed.
- Partner with Legal and HR leadership to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
- Conduct periodic internal audits to verify compliance with employment laws and organizational standards.
- Maintain compliance with Form I-9 requirements.
Training & Communication
- Develop and deliver compliance training for HR teams.
- Communicate policy updates and compliance requirements across the organization.
Other Compliance Responsibilities
- Support employment actions related to workforce reductions, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in HR compliance or a related human resources function.
- Experience with affirmative action planning, EEO reporting, and federal contractor compliance.
- Vendor management experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including OFCCP, EEOC, and ADA requirements.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Sound judgment and the ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive compliance matters.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different employee and stakeholder populations.
- Ability to adapt quickly to regulatory changes and evolving business requirements.

- This position is eligible for remote work within the United States.
