About the Role
This fully remote Admissions Representative opportunity focuses on recruiting qualified applicants for admission, guiding prospective students through the enrollment process, and helping applicants understand available educational programs and services. The role requires strong communication, organization, follow-up, and relationship-building skills while maintaining high ethical standards and complying with applicable state and federal accreditation requirements, policies, and regulations.
The Admissions Representative is responsible for managing inquiries efficiently, generating interest in available programs, scheduling and conducting interviews, supporting qualified applicants through enrollment, and maintaining consistent communication with applicants and enrolled students.
What You’ll Do
- Clearly and accurately explain educational programs, expected outcomes, student services, and financial considerations to prospective students and, when appropriate, members of their support system.
- Manage prospective student inquiries to ensure prompt contact and consistently meet weekly activity and performance targets.
- Use approved recruitment policies, procedures, and communication formats when working with prospective students.
- Make timely and effective contact with inquiries and appropriately redirect candidates whose career goals are not compatible with the available programs.
- Generate additional prospective student inquiries and referrals by asking phone contacts whether they know others who may be interested in the programs offered.
- Schedule and conduct admissions interviews with prospective students.
- Follow up with qualified candidates and support them through the enrollment process.
- Evaluate whether prospective students are appropriate candidates for admission based on the compatibility of their career goals.
- Accurately forecast projected new-student enrollment on a regular basis and provide updates to admissions leadership and senior management.
- Conduct consistent follow-up with applicants on a daily, weekly, or as-needed basis to support successful matriculation.
- Communicate effectively with enrolled students and guide them through the online orientation process.
- Help enrolled students understand the importance of completing online orientation and track their progress throughout the process.
- Actively participate in team activities and initiatives.
- Complete assigned job responsibilities in a timely and responsive manner.
- Work collaboratively and effectively with other departments.
- Listen carefully to internal and external customers, understand their requests, and respond positively and professionally.

Qualifications
- 0–2 years of admissions recruitment or non-durable goods sales experience.
- Online admissions recruitment or intangible sales experience is preferred.
- Previous experience in the hospitality and/or culinary industry is preferred but not required.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is strongly preferred.
- A sincere interest in helping others achieve their personal and professional goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage an audience effectively.
- Strong organizational and problem-resolution skills.
- Goal-oriented approach with a strong commitment to ethical conduct.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant hardware, software, and reporting systems.
- Knowledge of Salesforce is preferred but not required.

Schedule & Work Environment
- Standard operating hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
- One late shift per week is required, from 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
- One Saturday shift is required approximately every 4–5 weeks.
- During weeks when a Saturday shift is scheduled, the preceding Friday is provided as a day off.
- This is a fully remote position.
