About the Role
This opportunity is for a Lead Product Designer responsible for creating engaging, high-quality product experiences across a responsive web platform. The role combines product strategy, UX design, visual design, user research, interaction design, and AI-driven product innovation to deliver polished experiences from concept through launch. You will own major product initiatives while working closely with Product and Engineering to shape product direction and deliver exceptional user experiences.
This is an individual contributor role designed for a product designer who enjoys full ownership, values exceptional craftsmanship, and thrives in a fast-moving environment. Success in this position requires balancing user needs, business goals, visual quality, and technical feasibility while continuously improving the overall product experience.
What You'll Do
- Design intuitive user interfaces and engaging user experiences for responsive web applications across customer-facing product experiences.
- Partner closely with Product throughout the design process to influence product direction and identify the best solutions.
- Gather insights through user feedback, usability testing, research, and stakeholder conversations to improve product experiences.
- Evolve and expand the product's visual language to support new features and changing user needs.
- Explore practical opportunities to incorporate AI and machine learning into product experiences where they create meaningful user value.
- Own complete product features from initial exploration through final implementation.
- Collaborate directly with product leadership to evaluate ideas, challenge assumptions, and refine product decisions.
- Maintain exceptional attention to visual quality, interaction design, and overall product craftsmanship.
- Focus on hands-on product design as an individual contributor without people management responsibilities.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- Experience leading end-to-end product design initiatives with significant ownership.
- Experience collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Experience designing responsive digital products that balance user experience, business objectives, and technical implementation.
Required Skills
- Exceptional visual design skills with a strong eye for detail, typography, layout, and interaction design.
- Strong expertise designing intuitive UI/UX experiences for responsive web applications.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and incorporating customer and stakeholder feedback into product decisions.
- Experience evolving design systems and maintaining a consistent visual language across products.
- Strong product thinking with the ability to influence product strategy through the design process.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma and modern product design workflows.
- Ability to identify practical AI and machine learning opportunities that enhance user experiences.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing ecommerce, SaaS, marketplace, or digital commerce products.
- Strong business judgment combined with exceptional product design craftsmanship.
