Warehouse Associate

Employment type: Contractor, 6-month contract-to-hire based on performance

Pay: $19/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with overtime available and work continuing until daily tasks are complete

What this job involves

You’ll support shipping, receiving, order picking, stocking, and general warehouse operations for an electrical distribution facility.

Daily warehouse work

• Pick customer orders using an RF scanner.
• Move completed orders to shipping for verification.
• Stock materials after receiving and check-in.
• Support shipping and receiving operations.
• Operate forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and order picker equipment when required.
• Follow warehouse safety procedures throughout the shift.

Experience and skills

• RF scanner experience preferred.
• Shipping and receiving experience preferred.
• Electrical distribution experience preferred, but not required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Self-motivated and willing to learn.
• Strong communication skills.
• Team-oriented and safety-conscious work style.
• Ability to improve productivity and accuracy through training and feedback.

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift or push up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Steel toe boots required.
