About the Role
This opportunity is for a Senior Frontend Engineer responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining responsive web applications using ReactJS, NextJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript. The position focuses on translating Figma designs into pixel-accurate user interfaces, integrating RESTful APIs, implementing reliable frontend architecture, and delivering production-ready features. The engineer will take ownership of the frontend codebase, make critical architectural decisions, and maintain application performance, quality, and resilience.
The role requires extensive knowledge of React hooks, reducers, contexts, and props, along with hands-on experience in responsive UI development, state management, automated testing, and browser performance optimization. Responsibilities include coordinating directly with backend engineers to resolve API specification discrepancies, maintaining code quality through CI/CD pipelines, and deploying customer-facing updates on a weekly schedule.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain ReactJS user interfaces that accurately reproduce Figma designs, including layout dimensions, margins, padding, and visual details.
- Implement Responsive Web Design to ensure interfaces adapt to different screen sizes according to design specifications.
- Build frontend functionality using ReactJS, NextJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs, using custom React hooks to manage application state and data interactions.
- Develop comprehensive unit tests and end-to-end tests to validate application functionality, reliability, and code quality.
- Support automated testing within robust CI/CD pipelines to maintain consistent software quality.
- Work directly with backend engineers to identify and resolve API specification discrepancies without relying exclusively on project management coordination.
- Use browser developer tools to investigate UI defects, diagnose performance bottlenecks, and identify frontend optimization opportunities.
- Make independent frontend system architecture decisions that support maintainability, resilience, and adaptability to future changes.
- Deploy application updates to production on a weekly cadence, delivering improvements to customers.
- Own the frontend codebase and make technical decisions that protect source code integrity, application stability, and long-term maintainability.
- Investigate and resolve complex frontend bugs, rendering inconsistencies, and user interface issues.
