Warehouse Associate

Pay: $16.00 - $21.50/hour

Role summary

This retail warehouse role supports order preparation, inventory movement, merchandise replenishment, customer loading, and general warehouse organization.

What you’ll do

• Compile orders and move merchandise throughout the store and warehouse areas.
• Restock the sales floor with product.
• Organize merchandise so customers can shop easily.
• Load customers with the correct products.
• Check inventory and customer orders for accuracy.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• Help customers find products and answer questions.
• Assist in other areas of the store when needed.
• Follow safety processes and keep the work area clean and safe.
• Work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll need

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic math skills.
• Warehouse experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Friendly, organized, hardworking, and team-oriented approach.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Experience with heavy machinery, forklifts, or farm equipment preferred but not required.
• Completion of forklift certification through the employer.

Physical and work environment

• Occasional exposure to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles.
• Quiet to moderate noise level.
• Ability to exert 30 to 60 pounds of force occasionally.
• Ability to exert 20 to 30 pounds of force frequently.
• Ability to constantly move objects up to 20 pounds.
• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
